Though Marvel Studios were the only members of The Mickey Mouse Club to show up at San Diego Comic Con, Disney have announce an unusually strong presence at next month's New York alternative. Not only unusually strong for this studio, but for anybody. Not many big movie panels go down at New York Comic Con, at least not on this scale.

Because, alongside a presentation of the new, Marvel Comics-derived animation Big Hero 6, Disney will also be using NYCC to launch their marketing campaign for Brad Bird's Tomorrowland.

We've seen nothing from the film so far, unless you count a few leaked plot details, a logotype and some photos from the set. While the New York crowds will likely be the first to see some footage from the film. Tomorrowland's release is set for May 22nd, 2015 - ie. just 262 days from now - so it's maybe about time for some kind of teaser to pop up for all of us.

According to Disney's announcement, director Brad Bird, co-writer Damon Lindelof and "special guests" will be on the Tomorrowland panel. Big Hero 6 directors Don Hall and Chris Williams will show up for their film, alongside producer Roy Conli and, again, "special guests." They're just reluctant to say which actors they'll have in tow, for fear of "scheduling conflicts" letting us all down.
