During the cast of Avengers: Age of Ultron's recent stop at Comic Con International, ComicBook.com was among a number of reporters who got a chance to spend a few minutes with Iron Man star Robert Downey, Jr.

Besides weighing in on who he thought would win in a brawl between the Avengers and the Guardians of the Galaxy -- "Well, you know, they're new on the block so I suspect we'd wipe the deck with them. But you never know." -- Downey was pressed for details on the widely-reported party at Avengers Tower.

He was tight-lipped about it, but had a little fun with the question, and noted that part of why the Marvel Studios movies are so appealing is that the world they've crafted is like nothing else he's ever inhabited as an actor before.

"Okay. Well...obviously Thor really gets his jollies making us all look like schmucks," he joked at first, when asked about the party. "A party at Stark Tower? It's gotten to the point where I walk onto these sets and they keep getting bigger and cooler and I just go, "Okay, I guess this is my pad now." And then I'll go back to a hotel room or something....But just the world that all these collective folks -- the directors and Kevin and Disney -- have created, it's literally the top of the heap. I've never seen better sets on any movie than the ones we just shot on."

Avengers: Age of Ultron is in theaters on May 1, 2015.
