Ben Affleck Fires Back At Matt Damon's Comments That Bourne Could Beat Batman

In September, at the Toronto International Film Festival, Matt Damon said Jason Bourne could beat The Dark Knight in a fight. "Jason Bourne would kick the s--t out of Batman—absolutely!" Damon told E! News, adding, "Batman's gotta take on Superman first. If he could beat him then maybe he could take on Jason Bourne."

Fast forward to now, and Ben Affleck has a strong response to Damon's bold assertion. "Matt is going around saying this all over the place but not to my face," Affleck tells E! News' Maria Menounos. "But Matt can't even beat me up, never mind Batman. You know what I'm saying? He has a long way to go."

"They're just finishing the Bourne movie now when we have our premiere over in London," he added. "I'll see Matt and he can take me up on it."

Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice opens nationwide on March 25, 2016, and Jason Bourne will land in theaters on July 29, 2016.
