When Tom Holland appears in Captain America: Civil War, it will be the first time that a Spider-Man actor in a feature film has had the opportunity to share the screen with some of Marvel's other heavy-hitting superhero characters.

In fact, through five installments of one of the most successful superhero film franchises in history, Spidey has always walked a lonely road, with no other heroes by his side, no matter how many villains might show up in any given flick.

Holland, then, is understandably excited to tackle a different kind of Spider-Man story.

"It's very daunting, because obviously the first two guys were so great and they did such fantastic performances, so I've got quite a lot to follow," Holland told IGN in a video embedded below. "I think I'll have the help from the rest of the Marvel Universe and what's quite exciting is when you read these comics that he's in, he interacts with a lot of other superheroes. So I don't know if they will -- they might do -- but I love the idea of teaming up with other people and getting to work with some of the cast that are in this universe."

Holland will star in Sony and Marvel's as-yet-untitled Spider-Man co-production, due in theaters on July 28, 2017 from director John Watts.
