New York Magazine has created a trailer that mixes footage from monster movies made during the 1950s with decolorized shots from Marvel's upcoming Ant-Man film.

For this, they pull footage from "The Fly" (1958), "House on Haunted Hill" (1959), "The Incredible Shrinking Man" (1957) and "Them!," a film about giant irradiated ants that ended up as Warner Bros. highest-grossing film in 1954. Maybe Marvel Studios will have the same luck with ants.

Check it out in the video below.

Armed with the astonishing ability to shrink in scale but increase in strength, con-man Scott Lang must embrace his inner-hero and help his mentor, Dr. Hank Pym, protect the secret behind his spectacular Ant-Man suit from a new generation of towering threats. Against seemingly insurmountable obstacles, Pym and Lang must plan and pull off a heist that will save the world.

Marvel's Ant-Man hits theaters July 17, 2015.
