TV Land has given Michael Rosenberg's Impastor a series order.

The series is a single-camera comedy in which Rosenberg plays a slacker who poses as a new, gay pastor in a small town. The cable network has ordered ten episodes for a short (but standard for TV Land) first season.

TV Land has also handed a 10-episode series order to Teachers, a comedy starring improv group The Katydids as six elementary school teachers. Both series will debut in 2015.

"Impastor and Teachers are perfect examples of the type of comedies we're looking for as TV Land evolves its original series," TV Land President Larry W. Jones said in a statement, "innovative, unconventional and hilariously funny for an audience that enjoys smart humor with a hint of heart."
